How to make a salad with chicken and pickled onions? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. The proportions for the salad are approximate and they, quite, can be changed a little to their taste. Boil the chicken fillet beforehand in boiling water for about 30 minutes and cool.
Peel the onion from the husks, rinse in cold water and cut into half rings or a little smaller. Place the chopped onions in a bowl and cover with cold water. Add the vinegar. Leave to stand for 25-30 minutes so that the onions are marinated. It will become very fragrant. Then roll the onion back onto a strainer and drain all the liquid. Pour some water.
Fill the eggs with water, put on a heat and bring to a boil. Cook for 7-8 minutes. Then drain the hot water and cool the eggs, pouring them with cold water. Clean the cooled eggs from the shell. Cut the chicken meat into small cubes.
Transfer the chopped chicken to a bowl in which you will mix all the ingredients. Add the chopped eggs to the chicken.
Dice the fresh cucumber and add to the salad.
Next, add the chopped tomatoes and chopped fresh greens. Greens can be any: dill, parsley, spring onions. Next, put the prepared pickled onions in the salad.
Season the salad with mayonnaise or sour cream and mix everything. Cool the salad a little so that all the ingredients become the same temperature.
Transfer the chicken and egg salad to a suitable salad bowl and serve to the table. Enjoy your meal!
