How to make a salad with smoked chicken, pineapple, cheese and corn? Very simple and fast. First, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Smoked chicken meat can be used from the breast, from legs or shins. Which is better - choose to taste. Mayonnaise can be used shop or home.
Disassemble smoked chicken with your hands into fibers, removing the skin. I took half the smoked breast.
Drain the liquid from the canned pineapples, dry. If the pineapples are rings, then cut them into small pieces. It is advisable to squeeze the pineapples slightly so that the salad is not watery.
Finely chop Beijing cabbage. To make the salad more delicate in structure, it is better to take the green part of the leaf, and cut the white part.
Boil the carrots in the skin until tender. Then peel and grate over a coarse grater.
Boil the eggs hard-boiled, chill, peel and grate over a coarse grater. If desired, you can divide the eggs into proteins and yolks and grate them separately. And then arrange them in separate layers.
Drain the liquid from the canned corn, dry the grains.
Grate the cheese over a coarse grater.
You can just layer all the ingredients in a salad bowl, but I prefer to make a salad in a cooking ring (Ø 16-18cm) so that all the layers are visible. Put the pineapples in the first layer and pour mayonnaise over them. I put the mayonnaise in a pastry bag and cut off the tip. This is more convenient than a spoon.
Spread out the smoked chicken in the next layer and pour mayonnaise over the top. Try to compress each layer better, then the salad will not fall apart once you remove the culinary ring. If desired, you can sprinkle some layers with salt and pepper. I don't usually add spices to mayonnaise salads.
Next - grated eggs and mayonnaise.
Followed by grated carrots, which also need to be poured with mayonnaise.
Spread the canned corn over the carrots and lightly press into the previous layer to secure the grains. It is not necessary to water corn with mayonnaise.
Top with grated cheese and make a mesh of mayonnaise.
The last layer is crushed Beijing cabbage. You don't need to water it with mayonnaise. The ingredients can be laid out in a different order to your liking. If you don't have the time or opportunity to form a salad in a ring, you can just mix everything in a salad bowl and pour mayonnaise.
Garnish the finished salad with pineapples, corn grains, fresh greens and bright berries. Put the salad in the fridge for 1 hour. Carefully remove the cooking ring before serving. Enjoy your meal!
