The salad turns out to be tasty and beautiful, while the most ordinary and budget products are used for it. Which is a big plus. Instead of the usual "Olivier, " "Mimosa" or "Herring under a fur coat" you can cook such a puff salad. So what do we need for a salad? Firstly, boiled meat, namely pork (although boiled beef or chicken is quite suitable for lettuce, turkey, in general, any meat to taste). Therefore, the meat is boiled in advance and cooled to room temperature. In addition, we boil vegetables in advance, namely potatoes and carrots. We boil them "in a uniform, " that is, entirely, for which I carefully wash from the ground, transfer them to a pan of a suitable size and pour water so that they are completely covered with it. Vegetables are cooked until tender (soft), and then cooled (water needs to be drained). Further potatoes and carrots are clean and three are coarsely grated, transfer them to different bowls. We cut the cooled meat into small pieces, and also transfer it into a separate bowl. Clean onions from husks and finely chop them, scald them with boiling water, drain water and cool the onions. Hard cheese to three on medium or coarse grater. Pickle cucumbers cut into small cubes. We start assembling lettuce - the most responsible and interesting work. You can collect the salad in a beautiful deep salad bowl, preferably with glass walls, so that the layers are visible. Or on a flat holiday plate as in the photo. Or you can use a culinary ring (for serving portions). Let's start. . . Grease the bottom of the plate with mayonnaise and lay out the potatoes with the first layer, which we grease with mayonnaise. We put meat on it and grease the layer again with mayonnaise. Next comes onions plus mayonnaise. Put cucumbers in the next layer, and mayonnaise on them. Then we lay out carrots in the center, and grated cheese on the sides. It remains to decorate the salad to your liking and refrigerate for a couple of hours for soaking and cooling (you can spend longer).
