How do you make a simple avocado and tomato salad? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Take tomatoes strong, but juicy. Soft tomatoes will spread out during the slicing process and spoil the outer salad. Lettuce onions can be used either regular or red. I decided to take red - it looks more beautiful in such a salad.
Peel the avocado, cut in half and remove the bone. Cut the avocado into small cubes.
Place the chopped avocado in a bowl and pour over the lemon juice. This is necessary so that the avocado does not darken.
Wash the tomatoes, cut in half and remove the peduncle. Then cut the tomatoes into large slices. Transfer them to a bowl to the chopped avocado.
Peel and slice the onions into thin half rings. Then pour boiling water over the onions to remove the bitterness. Drain the excess water by reclining the onion in a colander.
Add the prepared onion to the bowl to the salad.
Pour olive oil over all the ingredients. Add salt and spices to taste. As spices, I take some ground peppers and dried basil. Mix all the ingredients. Transfer the salad to a suitable salad bowl and serve to the table, having cooled a little before. Enjoy your meal!
