Grazia salad
4 servings
1 hour 10 min
Such a salad can easily replace a light dinner or become a decoration at any celebration. It's not difficult to cook it, that's what it takes:
1. Rinse the chicken fillet well under cold water. Then put it in a small saucepan and pour with clean drinking water. Put the pan of meat on the stove and bring to the boil. After that, salt to taste, add bay leaves and reduce the heat. Boil the chicken fillet until cooked over low heat for about 20-25 minutes from the moment the water boils. Then get the meat, cool and cut into small pieces.
2. Cut white bread or loaf into cubes. It is advisable to take stale bread - it will be easier to cut it. Heat some vegetable oil in the pan and heat it. As soon as the butter warms up enough, throw cubes of bread into it. Over a medium heat, stirring periodically, fry pieces of bread evenly until beautiful golden crust. Sprinkle the resulting crackers on top with garlic powder.
3. Rinse the bell peppers. Cut off the peduncle and clean from internal seeds. Cut the pepper flesh into cubics.
4. Rinse and dry the tomatoes as well. And then cut into small pieces. Drain the resulting juice, as it can make the salad too liquid.
5. Rinse the cucumbers and cut into cubics.
6. Cut the ham into quadrates.
7. In a large container, so that it is easier to mix the salad, pour all the chopped products - boiled chicken fillet, bell pepper, tomatoes and cucumbers, ham. Open the tin of canned corn, drain the liquid from it and add it to the container to the rest of the products.
8. Season the salad with mayonnaise and gently mix all the ingredients. Taste the salad and add salt at your discretion.
9. Before serving, sprinkle the salad with pre-cooked white bread crumbs. It should be taken into account the fact that if the crackers are put immediately, they will be soaked and will have a soft consistency. Enjoy your meal!
