How to make Bull salad for the New Year's table? 2021 will be held under the symbol of a white bull, so I make a light salad. For a beautiful design, I need three different ones, but harmonizing with each other to taste. To create a bull's head, a salad with chicken, pineapple and corn, with mayonnaise dressing, is well suited. Chicken can be boiled, smoked or fried - your choice. Cheese may be your favorite, and I took Russian. Boil the eggs hard-boiled.
I make a salad with fried chicken fillet. If you also want to, wash the meat first and dry it thoroughly with paper towels. Cut off the fat and film as much as possible. Then cut the fillet into thin strips along the fibers. And then these strips across the fibers into squares, about 1. 5 x 1. 5 cm. Transfer the meat to a colander and add a little flour. Carefully roll all the pieces, and shake off the excess flour. The meat will fry quickly and be juicy.
Heat the pan, then pour in some refined oil and let it heat well over a high heat. Only put all the meat in the well-hot butter at once. Do not rush to interfere with it, let the crust grab and slightly brown. Only then stir, then a couple more times. Thin pieces of fillet are fried for only 3-4 minutes. Remove the finished meat from the stove, add salt and pepper. Let it rest a little under the lid, then cool completely.
Transfer the cooled meat to a deep salad bowl. Add the expressed corn and finely chopped pineapple, along with the finely chopped nuts. Grate the eggs on a coarse grater and the cheese on a fine one. At this stage, the salad can be closed and removed to the refrigerator at night, and refilled and mixed before serving or creating a thematic figure of a bull. For dressing in mayonnaise, squeeze out the garlic, but it can be added immediately to the bowl.
Turn previously prepared salads into a goby, start as close to serving as possible, so that the festive design does not lose its presentable appearance. Start by preparing the elements of the head. Cut out the nose and ears from boiled sausage or brighter ham. From the egg - whites of the eyes. Nostrils, eyebrows and eyes, can be made of black grapes or olives. I first drew a sketch so that the salad entered the selected dish. I checked all cut elements with the sketch and adjusted the size.
Then finely rub the rest of the protein and some hard cheese on top of the main salad. This is an imitation of goby wool and it, as in nature, can be heterogeneous. Secure eyes, eyebrows, ears and nose, goby lip. Last distribute the cheese salad with carrots, form a funny chubchik. Do not forget to clean the plate from fallen crumbs, everything should be tidy.
