Mince pita roll baked in the oven
8 servings40 min
Thin pita bread - 100 grams, Minced chicken - 300 grams, Eggs - 2 pcs., Onions - 4 pcs., Salt - to taste, Mayonnaise - 1 table, Ground pepper mixture - to taste, Hard cheese - 30 grams

For the recipe, I took the ready-made chicken mince. Put the mince in a bowl, add the crushed onions, egg, salt to taste and a mixture of peppers (or other seasonings as desired).

We mix everything well.

Now about pita. I used a purchased pita bread of three sheets (each weighing 100 grams), I needed one sheet. If you take a whole pita, then cut off a rectangle measuring 30 by 40 cm with scissors - mine was just that size, especially for the recipe it was measured with a ruler. Apply the filling in an even layer, not reaching the edges by about 2-3 cm. Leave for 5 minutes so that the pita bread is soaked in meat juice.

First we bend the edges of the long side (which is 40 cm), and then we roll all the pita bread with a roll, trying to roll as tightly as possible. It turns out such a & quot; sausage & quot;.

We put the roll on a baking tin or baking sheet, you can lay parchment paper or foil under it, you don't need to lubricate them. Grease the roll with a mixture of egg and mayonnaise, which we previously beat with a whisk. We send the roll to the oven, heated to 160 degrees for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, we take out the roll from the oven and put thinly chopped pieces of cheese on it - it took me 7 slices. You can sprinkle with cheese grated over a coarse grater, but I liked it more, as I turned out portioned pieces. We put the roll back to bake for another 10 minutes, the temperature can be slightly reduced.

Remove the roll from the oven, cut in portions and serve it hot to the table. Additionally, you can decorate the roll with fresh herbs - I have chopped green onions.
