To make pita bread with cottage cheese, we will need the following products: one large leaf of thin Armenian pita, cottage cheese (I have 5%), bell pepper (I had frozen), dill or parsley greens, a couple of garlic cloves, salt and pepper.
Let's start with the preparation of the filling. To do this, take cottage cheese 4-9% fat. A cottage cheese with melted cheese is good open with a fork. We squeeze into the resulting mass a clove (you can also squeeze a couple of cloves) garlic using a special press.
Rinse the dill greens thoroughly under running water and dry on a paper towel. Then finely grind the greens with a knife.
Add the chopped greens to the curd mixture, and mix until homogeneous. If the mixture is too dry, you can add a spoon of sour cream to it.
On the table we spread a sheet of pita bread. We apply a thin layer of curd mass with greens to it.
My red bell pepper, remove the seeds and cut into a small cube. The snack will look very beautiful if you use bell peppers of different colors (traffic lights). We lay out dices of pepper on top of pita bread with cottage cheese.
We turn pita bread with cottage cheese and pepper into a tight roll.
Transfer the pita roll into an oiled baking dish and lubricate the surface with an egg, having previously mixed it in the cup with a fork.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of pita roll and bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about a quarter of an hour.
Let the pita bean cool a little, then cut into pieces with a sharp knife. Serve as a snack in warm or cold form.
