How to make cod fillet in a slow cooker? Very simple and fast. First, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Any cod fillet is suitable for the dish. It can be frozen fillets in briquettes, or a whole piece of fresh fish. Choose the option you can get. You can supplement the vegetable part to your liking.
Wash the cod fillet, dry. If the fillet is frozen, you do not need to wash it, just defrost it on the lower shelf of the refrigerator and drain the released water. Sprinkle the prepared fish with salt and pepper.
Wash the tomatoes, dry and cut into circles. I used cherry tomatoes, but you can also take ordinary strong tomatoes, just not very large and small diameter. Plum tomatoes are suitable.
Peel the garlic from the husks and finely chop with a knife or pass through the press. My teeth are quite large, so I took 3 pieces, if your teeth are small, you can take more.
Rinse the parsley, dry and chop finely. In addition to parsley, you can use other greens to taste: dill, cilantro, etc. Or make a mixture of different herbs. The dish will only benefit from this.
In a bowl, combine the garlic with the chopped greens and mix.
Brush the bowl of the slow cooker with vegetable oil. Put the fish fillet in the form. It is better to do this before putting tomatoes and herbs on the fillet.
Spread the mixture of greens with garlic on top.
Top the greens with the diced tomatoes. Drizzle everything with the remaining olive oil.
Place the fish tin in a slow cooker. Set the device to "Extinguish" or "Bake" mode for 20-25 minutes. Some cook fish on Multipov mode. Which mode is most suitable for you, choose it. I chose the Extinguishing mode. Twenty minutes was enough for the fish to reach readiness.
Spread the fish with the tomatoes and greens on plates and serve immediately. Enjoy your meal!
