Lemon juice - 1 tbsp., Tomatoes - 2 pcs., Hard cheese - 65 gr., Sour cream - 1 tbsp., Salt - to taste, Basil - 0.5 tsp., Dry spices - 0.5 tsp.
How to bake salmon and cheese in the oven? Prepare the necessary products. I cut steaks from pre-peeled fish. Rinse the steaks thoroughly, dry well. If the steaks are frozen, defrost them first. It's best done in the fridge. Choose spices and seasonings for your taste.
Drizzle the steaks with lemon juice, sprinkle with seasoning and basil on all sides, salt. Cover the fish and leave for 20 minutes to soak in the seasonings.
Wash the tomatoes, cut into circles.
Grate the cheese over a coarse grater.
Brush the bottom of the roasting dish with vegetable oil. Lay out the salmon steaks. Any heat-resistant form (metal, ceramic or glass) is suitable for this recipe.
For each steak, arrange the circles of tomato.
Sprinkle a layer of tomato over the grated cheese. If desired, you can pour a little sour cream or mayonnaise on top. This will make the cheese layer softer.
Cover the mold with a layer of foil. Thanks to this, the fish will be more tender and the cheese top will not dry out.
Bake the salmon and cheese in the oven preheated to 180 C for 25-30 minutes. If you want a ruddy crust, remove the foil a few minutes before you're ready and bake until ruddy. Adjust the cooking time and mode, focusing on the features of your oven.
Serve the salmon with the cheese with the side dish or fresh vegetables and herbs. Enjoy your meal!
