To make the potato filling, preheat the pan to hot and pour in some vegetable oil. Cut the potatoes into pieces. Peel and finely chop the onions. Place the potatoes and onions in the pan. Stir everything and fry over a low heat until the potatoes are half cooked.
Salt the potato filling and sprinkle with spices. I added some ground pepper.
To prepare the dough, combine sour cream and eggs in a bowl. Stir.
Add the salt and soda. Gradually add the sifted flour and knead the dough. You don't need to pour all the flour at once. It may be needed a little more or less than indicated in the recipe. This will depend on the thickness of the sour cream, the size of the eggs and the flour itself. Navigate the consistency of the finished dough.
The dough is not liquid or thick.
Cover the bottom of the baking tin (20cm) with baking paper. Pour half the dough into the tin. Spread the potato filling evenly over the dough.
Pour in the remaining dough and place in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 30-40 minutes. Navigate your oven.
The finished pie will increase slightly in size and become a mouth-watering golden color.
Remove the cake from the tin, cover with a towel and cool a little. Such a filling pie with potatoes will perfectly complement any first dish. Nice treat!
