How do you make little pies? Measure the necessary ingredients to make the dough. Oil, kefir and egg should be cold.
Cut the cold butter into cubes.
Sift the flour through a fine sieve into a deep bowl. Put the butter pieces in the flour.
Grind the flour and butter with your hands into crumbs. To speed up the process, you can beat flour and oil in a blender.
Combine kefir with egg, sugar and salt and shake until smooth.
Pour the kefir mixture into the flour mixture and knead the smooth soft dough. Due to the large amount of butter, the dough is very pliable and elastic.
Roll the dough into a ball. It should be thick and hold its shape well.
Wrap the dough in a bag or cling film and place in the fridge for 3-4 hours. During this time, the dough will cool and will not break when rolling out. If you cook the dough from the evening, it will cool harder and before rolling it should be allowed to stand at room temperature for 20-30 minutes. It will become more elastic and easier to stretch.
Prepare the necessary ingredients for the filling. Minced meat can be used by anyone. To make the patties juicy, it is better to use mixed mince. I have minced chicken and mixed pork and beef.
In a bowl, combine the meat and chicken mince, mayonnaise, pour in the vegetable oil, pour in the spices.
Mix everything well. In addition to these ingredients, you can add finely cut onions to the minced meat.
Divide the dough into 3-4 parts.
Roll each part on a floured table into a thin circle and use a glass to cut the circles out of the dough.
Put 1 tbsp. l for each piece of dough. Meat filling
Carefully pinch the edges of the dough.
If you wish, you can make a beautiful protection at the pies by collecting the edges of the dough for toothpick.
Put the resulting pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment and greased with vegetable oil. If desired, you can grease the pies with beaten egg. I didn't grease as there's a lot of butter in the dough. Bake the patties for about 30 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 ° C.
Remove the toothpicks from the finished pies and serve. Enjoy your meal!
