Biscuits on sour milk

Biscuits on sour milk... 8 servings
2 hours 40 min

1. Pour semolina into a suitable container, pour with sour milk. Stir and leave the mixture to stand for one hour.

2. Time has passed - the manka is swollen. Break the eggs into a separate bowl, pour sugar to them. Now eggs with sugar need to be beaten well.

3. Add the swollen manka to the sugar-beaten eggs, and add the butter to the bowl. It should be room temperature, soft. Mix everything.

4. Put soda and a pinch of salt in a bowl, mix the mass again until homogeneous.

5. Sift the flour and add it in small parts to the rest of the ingredients, kneading the dough. Look at the consistency, you may need a little less flour. The dough should be soft-soft and should not stick to the hands.

6. Form a ball from the dough, put it on the bottom of the bowl, cover the bowl with a towel. Leave for 30 minute.

7. Then roll the dough into a thin layer (approximately 0. 3 cm). Sprinkle sugar over it and roll lightly again on top, pressing the sugar into the dough. Cut out the cookies with molds.

8. Lay a baking sheet with baking paper, put a future cookie on it.

9. Put the baking tray in the oven preheated to 190 degrees for 15-20 minutes (the edges of the finished cookies will brown, the cookies themselves will turn golden). The longer you keep the treat in the oven, the harder it will be. Try not to dry it out, although some like hard and fragile cookies, so focus on personal preferences. Have a nice tea party!
