Gooseberry - 250 g, Sugar - 150 g, Vodka - 300 ml, Water - 200 ml
How to make gooseberry tincture on vodka? Prepare the products: red gooseberry berries, sugar and vodka. Berries are suitable for both unripe and ripe. Naturally, the color of the resulting drink also depends on the color of the gooseberry. I always prefer red varieties - they are more fragrant and beautiful. Choose good quality vodka, it tastes softer.
Rinse the gooseberries well under running water and roll back into a colander to glass well the water. And it is not necessary to cut off the ponytails and peduncles of berries. If the berries were too contaminated, then they can be soaked in water for several hours to remove the dirt. Then rinse again under running water.
As time passes, strain the tincture through a strainer or gauze. Throw out the berries. Make the sweet syrup. How to make syrup? Pour sugar into a suitable dish, pour water, put on a heat. Bring to a boil, stirring the mixture until the sugar dissolves. Cool the syrup and pour into the tincture container, shake and leave for another week. The tincture is ready.
