Chicken fillet with oranges and cheese
4 servings2 hours
Chicken fillet - 800 gr, Oranges - 2 pcs., Olive oil - 2 tbsp., Salt - to taste, Parsley - to taste, Herb mixture - 1 gr., Basil - 1.5 tsp., Hard cheese - 130 gr.
Ingredients.
My chicken fillet, dry well. Cut into portions of the desired size. You can cut each fillet along in two parts.
Oranges are good to mine. We squeeze juice from one fruit. You can use a citrus juicer.
We prepare marinade. Combine the orange juice with olive oil, salt, finely chopped parsley, Provence herbs and basil. Mix the mixture well.
Put chicken fillet in a convenient container, pour marinade. It is desirable that the fillet is as liquid as possible, this must be taken into account when choosing dishes. We leave the fillet to marinate for 1-1. 5 hours. During this time, the chicken will soak in orange juice, which will make it softer, and the fragrant herbs will reveal a little.
Then we put the chicken fillet along with the marinade in a baking dish.
Cut the orange into thin circles.
Place the orange circles between the fillet pieces and on top.
Put in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 35-40 minutes until lightly browned.
We rub cheese on a coarse grater.
Evenly sprinkle the dish on top with grated cheese and put it in the oven for 10-15 minutes. We are waiting for the cheese to melt. Serve the chicken fillet hot with any side dish or fresh vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
