How to bake chicken in creamy sauce in the oven? Prepare the products. For baking in the oven, any part of the chicken is suitable. I'll be cooking chicken thighs. But you can use shins, breast or chicken fillet. Or cut a whole chicken into pieces and bake it. Cream can be any fat, I have 22%.
Wash the chicken and dry well with paper towels. Then it will be fried, not stewed. Preheat the pan to hot and pour a little vegetable oil on it. Place the chicken thighs in a hot pan and fry them over high heat until golden brown, a couple of minutes on each side.
Put the fried chicken thighs in a deep baking dish. It is not necessary to lubricate the form, since there is enough fat on the chicken for the form. In general, the frying process in a pan can be missed, but, in my opinion, this ready-made dish looks rudder and more appetizing.
Make the creamy sauce. How to make a sauce? Wash the dill greens (or other), dry and chop finely. Peel the garlic from the husks and finely chop it with a knife or grind it using a garlic press.
For the sauce, preheat the dry frying pan over a medium heat until hot and fry the flour on it for a minute, until a distinctive nutty aroma. Only stir it constantly so that the flour does not burn.
With constant stirring, pour cream into the pan to the flour. Stir the sauce well so that there are no lumps. Then add the crushed garlic and dill. To taste, add some salt and spice to the sauce. You can use ground pepper and paprika as a spice. Stir and, with constant stirring, bring it to a boil. When heated, the sauce thickens a little.
Pour over the shaped chicken thighs with the finished cream sauce. Place the chicken tin in the oven, warmed to 190 degrees, for 45-50 minutes, navigate your oven. The finished hips will become golden, ruddy in color.
Spread the finished dish into prepared plates and serve hot to the table. You can supplement such a chicken with any side dish and fresh vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
