Buffalo wings in the oven
6 servings1 hour 20 minThis recipe came to us from America when Teresa Belissimo, the owner of a small bar in the town of Buffalo, came up with the idea of deep-frying chicken wings and serving in pepper and cream sauce. But, honestly, in the original version, the dish is very high in calories, and decided to improve it a little from the point of view of rhenium of a healthy diet, the wings are very tasty! ! !
Chicken wings - 1.2 kg, Garlic - 2 teeth, Paprika - 0.5 tea liters, Mixture of ground peppers - 0.5 tea liters, Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp, ground black pepper - to taste, Table salt - to taste, ground black pepper - to taste, butter - 60 gr, Tomato paste - 2 tbsp, Chili sauce - 2 tbsp, Brown sugar - 2 tbsp
How to make buffalo wings? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Clean the wings, rinse well and dry with paper towels.
Cut the wings into 3 parts along the joint, set aside the tips (you can leave them on the broth).
The rest of the parts will be used in this recipe. Transfer the meat to a large bowl.
Salt it.
Pepper it.
Add the spices to taste - I picked up the paprika and pepper mix.
Run the garlic through the press.
Pour in some vegetable oil.
And mix everything well so that all the meat is evenly covered with aromatic marinade.
Transfer the wings to a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil at a distance from each other. The tray can be additionally covered with parchment or foil. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Determine the exact time by your oven.
As soon as you see that the wings have already browned and are practically ready, start making the signature & quot; Buffalo & quot; sauce. To do this, melt butter on the stove in a bucket or saucepan.
Add brown sugar to the butter. The bucket has to stand on the stove on low heat while you're all doing it. Prepare all sauce products in advance so as not to waste time preparing them, but immediately add.
Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
Add tomato paste or good ketchup to the sauce, mix.
Add the chilli sauce, at least 1 tablespoon, and taste it. If there is no chilli sauce, you can get by with one ketchup or tomato paste and add red hot pepper to taste.
Add a little black ground pepper, stir.
Run the garlic through the press.
Stir the sauce, warm it almost to a boil, but do not boil, otherwise it can delaminate.
Remove the browned wings from the oven.
Transfer the wings to the sauce and stir, let them soak for 3-5 minutes.
According to the classics, serve buffalo wings to beer with petiole celery, carrot bars and cheese sauce. Enjoy your meal!
