How to make hedgehogs with rice and tomato paste? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Minced meat can be taken from any type of meat or mixed. It is best to make the mince yourself, but you can buy it ready.
Peel, rinse and finely chop the onions. Pour some vegetable oil into a hot pan and fry the chopped onions for 2-3 minutes. It will get softer and start to gold a little bit.
In a separate bowl, combine the prepared minced meat and raw rice. Add the fried onion and egg. Add a little salt and spice to taste.
Mix all the ingredients well with each other until smooth. To make the meat mass denser, beat it off the bottom of the bowl several times.
To make the sauce, peel the carrots and cut them into thin bars. Fry the carrots 2-3 minutes until soft, adding some vegetable oil.
In a separate bowl, combine the tomato juice with the water. Add the roasted carrots, tomato paste and flour. Add salt and spices. Mix everything.
From the meat mass, blind small balls and put in a prepared frying pan.
Pour over the prepared sauce and place on heat. Bring everything to a boil and simmer under the lid over a low heat for about 30 minutes.
