Kutya christmas rice raisins
6 servings2 hours
Rice - 0.5 pack., Almonds - 0.5 pack., Walnuts - 0.5 pack., Food poppy - 0.5 pack., Raisins - 0.5 pack., Kuraga - 0.5 pack., Honey - 2 tbsp.
Pour boiling water over the poppy and leave for 1-2 hours.
Also fill the dried apricots with raisins in one dish with boiling water and leave for 1-2 hours.
Drain the water from the dried apricots and raisins, bring its volume to 1. 5 glasses and pour it into a saucepan.
Fill the washed rice in the water.
Cover and cook over low heat until tender.
Cut the walnuts (or grind as you like).
Grind the almonds in a blender (or how comfortable you are).
Cut the dried apricots to be the same size as the raisins.
Add honey to the finished rice and stir. Some water should remain in the rice just for mixing honey, excess moisture will evaporate with stirring.
Drain most of the water from the poppy, and whisk the poppy with the remaining water with a blender (or grind in a mortar, or pass through a meat grinder).
Fold the dried apricots with raisins and nuts into one comfy bowl, add the poppy soccio.
Add the warm rice and stir.
Rice kutya is ready for Christmas. Decorate it as you like and serve it to the festive table.
