How to bake meat rustic in the oven with potatoes? Prepare the products. Any meat will do, I have pork. Beans are frozen, you do not need to defrost them first. Take cream with a fat content of 10 or 20%. Wash and peel the vegetables.
Cut the meat into portions of not very thick pieces. I had 3 escalops, it turned out 12 small pieces. Fat, if it is eaten, do not cut - the meat will turn out juicier. It is not necessary to beat it. Salt and spices the meat on both sides. Choose spices to your liking, I took black freshly ground pepper. Leave the meat to stand, but for now take up vegetables.
Cut the onions into thin feathers.
Carrots - small cube.
Potatoes - in thin circles or semicircles, depending on the size.
Take a suitable baking dish. Drip some vegetable oil on the bottom. Put the first layer of potato circles, salt them. Next, place a layer of carrots, beans and onions. Also salt everything on top.
Put pieces of meat on vegetables.
Cover them with circles of potatoes. Salt the potatoes on top. Pour some water into the mold, 50ml will be enough.
Cover the tin with foil and place in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for 45-60 minutes. The exact time will depend on the features of your oven and the amount of potatoes. It should become soft and easily pierced with a knife. When this happens (it took me just about 1 hour), remove the foil and bake the dish for 15 minutes.
At this time, prepare the fill. Drive the eggs into the piala, pour the cream into them, whisking everything with a fork until smooth. Salt and pepper the sauce.
Remove the tin from the oven, do not turn off the heat. Pour the cream-and-egg mixture over the dish. Put it back in the oven for another 10 minutes.
Then remove again and sprinkle with cheese grated over a large grater.
Bake the meat rustic in the oven with the potatoes until melted and lightly browned with cheese, 5-10 minutes. Then take it out of the oven and serve it to the table.
The rustic pork potato dish is ready. Enjoy your meal!
