How to bake chicken shins with potatoes in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Sour cream is suitable for any fat content. Choose potatoes from young or fast-cooking varieties. Spices and spicy herbs are a matter of taste and preference, so you can add what you like most. Olive oil can be replaced with any vegetable oil. Or, before baking, spread pieces of butter on potatoes.
Wash the chicken shins and dry with paper towels. Place the shins against the sour cream and mix well. Leave them to marinate for 1-1. 5 hours. If time does not allow, then the pickling time can be slightly reduced. But keep in mind that the longer the shins marinate, the more delicious, tender and fragrant they will be. Any other marinades can be used for pickling.
Turn on the oven 180 degrees beforehand. Peel the potatoes, wash, cut into thin plates. If the potatoes are old, dense, do not cook well or you are not sure that they will have time to cook, then simply flash them in boiling water in the already chopped form for about 2-3 minutes (it should become softer, but remain half-warm), then gently tip them into a colander and continue cooking.
