Potatoes in cream in the oven
4 servings1 hour
Potatoes - 1 kg, Cream - 350 ml, Hard cheese - 200 g, Salt - to taste, Dry spices - to taste, Vegetable oil - 20 g
How to make potatoes in cream in the oven? First of all, you need to choose potatoes, approximately the same size. Rinse the prepared potatoes well from contamination and peel with a vegetable peeler. If you take young potatoes, then it is enough to rub them with a tough brush, since a dense peel has not yet formed on it. Rinse the peeled potatoes in water.

Grease the heat-resistant baking dish along the bottom and sides with vegetable oil. Cut half of the prepared potatoes into circles and put in a greased tin. Salt a little all over the surface.
Grate the cheese on a medium grater and sprinkle half of the total mass over the potatoes.
Then, just like that, mug the remaining potatoes and put them in the tin, too. Spread it evenly over the entire surface. Sprinkle the potatoes with a little salt and spices to taste. There is no need to add a lot of spice, as they will interrupt the natural taste of cream.
Pour cream over the potatoes. Try to water the potatoes so that each wedge is watered with cream.
Top liberally fill with grated cheese. Place the potato tin in the oven, warmed to 180 degrees, for 40 minutes. During this time, the potatoes will be completely cooked and soaked in cream. And the cheese on top will melt and become golden.
Remove the finished potatoes from the oven and leave to cool quite a bit so that the first heat comes out.
Then arrange on plates and serve to the table. Enjoy your meal!
