How to make potatoes with mayonnaise and tomatoes in the oven? Prepare the necessary products. If the tomatoes are large, perhaps one thing is enough.
Peel the onions, wash. Cut the onion into thin rings.
Cut the pre-peeled potatoes into circles not more than 4-5 mm thick.
Sprinkle the chopped potatoes with aromatic herbs, black ground pepper. Salt, pour vegetable oil. Mix everything well. Use any blend of herbs and spices to taste and desire. I have dried basil and Provence herbs.
Brush the baking dish a little with vegetable oil, put out the potato circles.
Spread the onion rings evenly across the potatoes.
Pour the potatoes with the onions over the top with the mayonnaise.
Take tomatoes juicy, but dense, not sung, so that they retain their shape well when cut. Then the finished dish will look better.
Place the tomato circles on the mayonnaise. Bake the potatoes in the oven preheated to 180S for about 40-45 minutes until the potatoes are soft. The cooking time may differ from that specified. It will depend on the peculiarities of the oven, on the height of the potato layer, on the quality of the baking dish.
Grate the hard cheese over a coarse grater.
Remove the tin from the oven, sprinkle evenly grated cheese on top.
Return the dish to the oven and bake until the cheese melts.
Serve the potatoes with the mayonnaise and tomatoes hot. Enjoy your meal!
