How to bake potatoes in a garlic peel in a rustic oven? For baking, choose tubers, roughly the same size. Rinse them thoroughly and rub them with a stiff brush to remove any impurities.
Cut each potato lengthwise into the 4 and rinse all the slices in running water to wash off the excess starch. Thanks to this, the potatoes will not fall apart when baked. Then put the washed potatoes on a paper towel and soak them very thoroughly on all sides so that there is not a drop of moisture left anywhere.
In a separate dish, combine vegetable oil and crushed garlic. Add a little salt and spice to taste. As a spice, you can use dry dill, paprika and ground pepper. Or you can use the finished seasoning for potatoes. Mix everything well.
Dip each slice of potato into this mixture, trying to cover it completely.
Prepare the baking tray for baking. Line it with cooking paper and spread out all the potato slices so they don't touch. Place a baking sheet of potatoes in the oven, warmed to 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Then put each potato on its side and leave in the oven for another 15-20 minutes.
Remove the finished potatoes from the oven and cool a little. Enjoy your meal!
