It is best to leave it to lie on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator so that it defrost on its own. To speed up defrosting, do not use hot water. Such extreme defrosting negatively affects the taste of the finished fish, making it dry.
Then coat the fish inside and outside with olive oil, salt and spices. I use dried dill as a spice. But you can use the same ready-made set of spices for fish. Put the coated fish on a sheet of foil and cover it on all sides with slices of lemon. If desired, you can make longitudinal cuts in fish and insert lemon slices into them.
