Homemade dry wine... 30 servings
21 days 30 min

If earlier, in order to try homemade dry wine from grapes, you had to go somewhere in the direction of the south, then with the development of agricultural technology, such grapes can be grown with us. Accordingly - and wine can be prepared in your kitchen. Such culinary recipes for preparing wines do not contain sugar, because it is the dryness of the wine that is determined by the presence of sugar. We do not add sugar from the outside, and the one that was in berries almost completely converts into alcohol. It is believed that grapes cannot be washed, because yeast lives on the surface of grapes, which will ensure further fermentation. If this is unacceptable for you and you want to wash the grapes, then wine yeast will need to be added to the indicated ingredients (read the instructions on the label to determine the proportion). We go through grape berries, remove rotten and damaged. Now we wash them through a colander over a bucket. Pour the resulting juice into a 10-liter bottle and put it in some warm corner for several days, i. e. until the pulp from the berries goes up. This is where we filter and drain our wine into a clean bottle. Install a water seal. To do this, we pass a rubber hose into the bottle lid and lower its end into a jar of water. Here it is very important that oxygen does not enter the bottle. As soon as the juice becomes clear, the wine is ready. Now it is again bottled and stored in the basement. If you think that the wine turned out too dry - add sugar, for every liter of juice - 100 gr. sugar.
