Due to the increased content of benzoic acids in lingonberries, it is quite difficult to achieve fermentation from berries, but if you do everything according to the recipe, you will get a tasty wine that will have a tart taste and a pinkish-red tone. It should be noted that table wine from lingonberries is quite difficult to get, it is better to cook sweet and strong homemade wines. We go through lingonberry berries, wash them thoroughly and warm them up until they get mashed potatoes. You can use a blender. Transfer the resulting puree into a glass container of a suitable size (jar or bottle). Pour 2 liters of water to the berries, cover with gauze and stand in a warm, darkened place for five days, or better a week. Filter the resulting juice and additionally squeeze the berries themselves. Pour the juice again into a bottle, where we add a mixture of honey and sugar dissolved in one and a half liters of water. We put the juice for fermentation in a dark warm place. When the fermentation process is completed, we pour the resulting homemade wine from lingonberry into another container and stand for about two months in a cool place. The readiness of wine is easy to determine by its color. Long-term storage of wine is recommended in a cool place away from sunlight.
