1. I put my dried fruits in an enameled or glass container of a suitable size. Rinse them with boiled water, and then pour boiling water. We pour poppy seeds into a separate bowl and also fill them with boiling water so that they are completely covered with it. We insist on both for half an hour. After water from dried fruits, drain into a glass, leave it for the future. Water from the poppy can be poured into the sink.
2. Rinse the rice in warm water until transparent, then transfer it to a medium-sized saucepan. Pour the rice with water remaining from the infusion of dried fruits, add more water if necessary (the total liquid should be no more than a glass). In the process of spitting rice, add a pinch of salt to it. Cook the rice until it is ready (soft) on a medium flamm.
3. Cut the dried apricots into small pieces. raisins, if coarse is used, can also be cut in half or into several pieces. We cut walnuts into small pieces, and leave part of them with halves to decorate the finished dish. Grind the swollen poppy in a blender for 2 minutes, then add a third of the chopped walnuts and grind everything again. The nut-and-poppy mixture should be light and quite uniform in consistency.
4. The rice is cooked - turn off the heating and add honey directly to the pan. Nothing if there is a little liquid left - it should be. We also lay out pieces of walnuts and dried apricots, raisins, crushed nut-poppy mixture. Everything is fine, but gently mix and let the juice cool for an hour.
5. We decorate the finished dish with halves of walnuts and pieces of dried apricots. Serve it warm or cold on the table. Until served, you can keep sočivno in the refrigerator. Festive mood!
