Caramelized bananas
4 servings15 min
Bananas - 4 pcs., Butter - 50 g, Sugar - 100 g, Water - 50 ml, Cinnamon - to taste
For a delicious banana dessert, prepare all the ingredients you need. Do not use bananas that have already sung, otherwise they will fall apart during the cooking process. Bananas should be quite dense.
Peel the bananas and cut into pieces, 1. 5-2 centimeters thick. Don't cut them too thinly. You can even cut bananas along, along the entire length.
Melt the butter in a small pan. Do it on a low heat so that the oil does not start to burn. Stir the oil to melt the most evenly.
Then pour the prepared sugar into the melted butter. Stir and leave to bask for a few more minutes.
Sugar will melt and begin to acquire a golden, caramel color. The process must be monitored. The mass will begin to foam. If you miss a little, then sugar can burn. Use a wooden spatula to stir.
Pour water into the caramel mass. Do this carefully, as the mass will begin to sizzle and seethe. That's the way it should be. Stir the mass and boil for a minute, until the sugar dissolves.
Put the sliced bananas in the hot caramel. Cook them for a minute over a low heat. If the bananas are soft, then the frying time can be slightly reduced. The main thing is that they keep their form.
Then gently flip the bananas and cook for another minute on the other side. Sprinkle a little ground cinnamon over the bananas to taste. Instead of cinnamon, you can sprinkle bananas with sesame seeds.
Caramelized bananas are ready! Put them on a prepared dish and treat. They are very tasty both hot and cold. Nice treat!
