How to make a dessert from cottage cheese with gelatin without baking? Prepare the products. Take cottage cheese natural, high-quality, tasty - the result will depend on it. It is better if the cottage cheese is not grained. Choose any fat. Yogurt is suitable for natural, without additives. Instead, you can take sour cream.
Fill the gelatin with clean water at room temperature. Stir and leave for 15 minutes to swell. I used fast-acting gelatin, it can be kept for less time.
Fold the cottage cheese into a bowl, add sour cream, sugar, regular and vanilla to it. I have it with natural vanilla, so it's dark. Adjust the amount of sugar with your taste, you can reduce or increase it.
Punch through all products with a submersible blender. A homogeneous mass without lumps should be obtained.
Melt the swollen gelatin in any way. You can do it on a stove, on a small fire. As soon as the gelatin melts, remove it from the heat, preventing boiling. Or in the microwave, in short pulses of 10 seconds. Pour a couple of tablespoons of the curd mixture into the hot gelatin and stir. And only then pour the resulting mixture to the total mass. In this way, you cool the gelatin quickly and without harm to other products.
Mix the curd mass well. Add berries or fruits to it. They can be any. Cut large fruits into pieces. Gently mix.
Take a dessert tin. It can be anything - glass, ceramic, metal, silicone. Even an ordinary salad bowl is suitable. I have a rectangular, size 20 * 9 cm. Line the shape with cling film. Pour the curd mass into it. Wrap the edges of the film, covering the top of the dessert. Put it in the fridge until fully stabilised, for at least 2 hours, or better overnight.
Remove the finished dessert from the fridge, turn it over onto a dish. Remove the film. Serve dessert with fresh berries. You can also pour any syrup over it. Enjoy your meal!
