How to make stuffed pita in the oven? Prepare the indicated ingredients. Lavash is better to take Armenian, fresh. If it is in one sheet, then you can take the whole, or two square sheets. For the sauce, I took 20% fat sour cream and homemade tomato sauce. You can replace the sauce with ketchup, mashed tomatoes or tomato paste. Replace sour cream with mayonnaise if desired.
Turn on to heat the oven to 180 degrees. Put a sheet of pita on the table. If there are two of them, then lay it out on top of each other. In a bowl, combine the sour cream (set aside a tablespoon of sour cream), tomato sauce, add salt and other spices to taste. Also, for a little sharpness, you can add a spoonful of mustard. Mix the sauce thoroughly and evenly spread over the entire pita, not reaching a few centimeters to the edge.
Wrap pita bread with filling, trying to roll up the filling more easily. Place the roll in a baking tin (covered with parchment or oiled, if desired), seam down. Instead of a form, you can put pita bread on a baking sheet. Brush the roll with the set back sour cream and place the stuffed pita tin in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 15 minutes. The time is approximately indicated, focus on the features of your oven.
