Instead of a regular loaf, you can use a wheat baguette or rye bread. It is better to buy bread in the cut. So you save yourself time. In addition, equally chopped even slices look beautiful on the table. Tomatoes can be supplemented or replaced with other vegetables.

Remove the sprats from the jar and shake off the oil. If you want to make the dish even cheaper, you can use a shop spruce pate instead of whole sprats.
Wash the tomatoes, dry and cut into circles or wedges. Choose tomatoes that are juicy but dense. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well, in the process of cutting and cooking they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.
Wash dill and parsley, dry and chop finely. If desired, you can replace or supplement with other herbs, for example, cilantro, green onions or use a mixture of different herbs.
In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, garlic passed through the press and chopped greens. Mix everything. I previously suppressed part of the greens so that it would let the juice and mayonnaise turn into a beautiful pale green color.
Rinse slices of white bread with mayonnaise with garlic and herbs. If desired, bread can be pre-dried in a toaster or in a dry pan. But in this case, the bread will definitely need to be cooled to room temperature, otherwise the mayonnaise on warm bread will float.
Spread 1-2 slices of tomato on top.
Top with 2 smoked sprats. Serve sandwiches to the table, garnishing with fresh greens. Enjoy your meal!
