Cut a fresh hearth loaf into thin pieces. You can make sandwiches on bread, dried or fried in vegetable oil in a pan. The taste of sandwiches in each case will be new and different. I cook without first preparing the bread. Spread the pieces with a thin layer of mayonnaise.
Pre-boil the chicken eggs. Cool them, clean them and chop them. It is better to do this with a knife so that the pieces are quite large - this will give more effect to the snack than just a homogeneous mass of cooked egg pate. Sprinkle the bread over the top with chopped eggs.
